World Championship Stick Fighting!
  • The World Eskrima-Kali-Arnis Federation, established in 1989 and since then the organizing body of 6 successful world championships in full contact stick fighting.
  • The WEKAF rules of fighting are that of full contact with a rattan stick. Protection gear is worn and there are no sweeps nor thrusts or buts allowed. This form of combat is highly effective in the way that it prepares the practitioner mentally for the chaos of a real fight. The game demands a high degree of stamina, but more importantly a fast stick handling and a thorough strategic/tactical approach to the game.
  • The next WEKAF World Championship Stick Fighting Tournament will be held at Orlando, Florida in 2006!
